Indian Creek Golf Course is a Public, 27 hole golf facility located in Elkhorn, Nebraska. Indian Creek has three 9-hole golf courses: Gray Hawk, Red Feather, and Blackbird. These three 9-hole courses can be combined to form 3 different 18 hole challenges.
The course first opened for play as an 18 hole golf course in 1992. It consisted of the Red Feather Nine and the Blackbird Nine. The Gray Hawk nine opened in 1998. The courses were designed by Frank Hummel.
Red Feather's nine holes offer water, bunkers and large mounds that come into play. Accuracy as well as length are necessities. The par three 8th with lake front right and creek left leaves only the green as a safe shot.
Long demanding holes await you as you start Blackbird. As you reach the middle of this course, water and bunkers will test your accuracy. The 4th hole, 557 yards from the back tees, plays into the prevailing wind over a lake extending 150 yards back from the front edge of this small but challenging green.
Gray Hawk presents players with a different challenge than the other two nines. The wider fairways allow some forgiveness on the tee shot. However, water and well-bunkered greens call for greater accuracy on all approach shots. The par four 9th is the ultimate finishing hole. Large fairway bunkers guard both sides of the fairway. From there, the spproach shot is slightly uphill and usually into a prevailing wind. Makes this a great finishing hole for any venue.

Meticulously maintained course. Bunkers have unique granular material than makes then consistent and easier to judge. Some bunkers seem overly penal in placement on holes that are difficult anyway. Three nines make is easy to get plenty of variety. Well worth the price.
